What to expect?

Have Fun!

This is not “Cross-Fire.”  Our job is to make you sound as good as you can and to help you really connect with the audience.

The Studio...

The studios are located in a standard office building on the ground floor.  You can park in front of the building.  Feel free to walk in and introduce yourself.  There are guests arriving all the time, so new arrivals are welcome.

The Green Room...

The Green Room is in the back of the building.  You will wait with the hosts (if they are not on the air) to prepare before the show.  Feel free to walk back to the green room once you get to the studios, and feel free to make yourself at home.

Participate by phone...

When you participate by phone, it is important that you call in via a traditional land line. Five minutes prior to the show, the sound engineer will give you a call to do a sound check on your phone line. At the time that the show starts, he will connect you to the studio, and from the moment that you can hear the hosts and other guests, you are live on the air.

Show Time!!!

You will be given a few, easy instructions on how to talk into the microphone and how things work in the studio.  If you have been on the air, you will find it quite typical.  If this is your first time on the air, you will find that you have everything figured out within the first few minutes.
